About Express Expert Psychology
A psychology-led practice based in Cambridgeshire, working with the courts, with commissioners and with people seeking therapy across London, the South East, the East of England and up to the Midlands.
A practice built around associates
Express Expert Psychology was founded by Dr Mareike Suesse, who leads it as Clinical Director. Around her is a team of associates: clinical and forensic psychologists, occupational therapists, creative therapists and a consultant psychiatrist.
Most of our associates combine their work with the practice with other roles. That lets us match each report, referral or course of therapy to the person with the right experience and the availability to do it properly, rather than fitting the work to whoever happens to be available.
Dr Mareike Suesse, Clinical Director and Consultant Clinical Psychologist
Dr Suesse is an HCPC-registered Consultant Clinical Psychologist. She leads the Psychology and Therapies departments at a psychiatric hospital and sits on its senior management team, so her clinical work is current and grounded in complex, high-risk settings.
Before training as a clinical psychologist she worked as a management consultant, advising public and private organisations and their leaders. That experience shapes the practice’s consultancy work.
Her training includes:
- A doctorate from the University of Oxford
- A BA (MA Cantab) in Natural Sciences (Experimental Psychology and Ethics of Medicine) from the University of Cambridge
- An MSc in Clinical Forensic Psychology from King’s College London
- A Graduate Diploma in Psychology from the University of East London

Community and pro bono work
Alongside our commissioned and court work, Dr Mareike Suesse gives her time to organisations supporting people at risk of criminality or re-offending.
- Fulham Reach Boat Club: a trauma-informed training workshop for the team behind their Boats not Bars project, a programme that aims to build resilience and community through sport.
- Exit: an ongoing relationship providing trauma-informed training, supervision and reflective practice to Exit, a charity supporting young people to live pro-social lives and leave organised crime.

Registration, insurance and DBS: our standards
The same standards apply to everyone who works with us, whether they are named on this site or not.
- Every clinician holds current professional registration with the HCPC or the GMC
- Every clinician holds professional indemnity insurance
- Every clinician has a current DBS check
- Dr Suesse and each associate are individually registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office and handle personal data in line with UK GDPR
